We’re delighted to present legendary hip-hop duo from Sacramento, California who in the late 90s / early 2000s wrote 3 genre defining albums, the first ‘Nia’ in 1999 was on James Lavell’s Mo’Wax label with DJ Shadow at the helm producing, the duo would go on form part of Soulsides with DJ Shadow which then grew into Quannum Projects, which in turn saw the release of the compilation ‘Solesides Greatest Bumps’ on Ninja Tune in 2000. Following this Blackalicious went on to release Blazing Arrow, their only major label release on Universal then The Craft on Anti/Epitaph in 2005. After a 10 year gap Blackalicious are BACK, along with a new album called ‘Emoni’, coming out in March 2015.
